Aligned Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Certification - RYT 200

Yoga is a practice of integrating your internal and external experiences. Sitting with and listening to the body can allow for safer movement and an overall quality of ease. Conscious breathing creates space within our bodies and is our most accessible path to intentional relaxation. When we relax and create opening, we can release and let go of patterns of holding that are no longer serving us.

Create space and opening within your body to increase your strength and flexibility through alignment focused Hatha Vinyasa practice.

Using the breath, the focus is to make every movement intentional while settling into a sense of freedom and relaxation in the mind.

Recovery from addiction and trauma of any kind requires healing for the mind, body, and spirit. In this class we focus on creating a safe space for sharing one’s experiences by cultivating a recovery community with one another. Linking breath and movement while allowing thoughts and emotions to rise and watching as they dissipate is an incredibly powerful way to open up the recovery process for oneself. The yoga practice is beginners-level, yogis of any level are welcome! Note: Class sign-in will be on paper, and sign-in forms will be kept in the studio office to maintain confidentiality to the best of our ability.
